Scholarships Galore!!!!
It was with great honor that the Ye Notorious Krewe of the Peg Leg Pirate was able to gift eleven $1,000 scholarships to aspiring college amputees this spring! The recipients are selected through a review process based upon their submitted applications. Each student must have maintained a grade point average of 3.5 and be an amputee. The number of scholarships and the amount given are based upon the availability of funds through the donations by our many supporters. Each scholarship will help a young adult achieve a better future for themselves. We, the Peg Leg Pirates, are merely the vessel your dollar passes through to make that difference in their lives. For that, we are truly grateful.
Financial Assistance is Available
Ye Notorious Krewe of the Peg Leg Pirate’s main mission is to provide charity assistance to local amputees with financial contributions for a prothesis or prosthetic to improve their quality of mobility.
Througut the year, we have charity events and donation drives to raise funds. The biggest event is the “Get on the Good Foot” Sporting Clay Shoot, which takes place in February of every year.

Manifest Prosthetics & Orthotics
Today was a powerful moment at Manifest Prosthetics and Orthothics.
Our Friend Humberto, who has experienced the challenges of homelessness and limb loss, received a brand-new prosthetic leg – a major step towards rebuilding his life and returning to work. His strength, humility, and determination moved everyone in the room.
This life-changing moment was made possible through the generous donation of the Peg Leg Pirate Krewe – whose support is helping restore not just limbs, but lives.
At Manifest, we believe every person deserves the opportunity to stand tall again – and today, Humberto did just that.
OPC Prosthetic Centers
June 12th 2026 – Today we gave back to the community! The Peg Legs donated $5000 to OPC and provided a prosthetic leg for a member of our community! Our Krewe is proud of the partnership with OPC and the great things they can do to make people’s lives better!
